1 horse/pony, 2 riders. Jumps 2’0” ~ 2’3”
To follow Class 2. JUMP IT & LEG IT!!!
Entry fee £5 members/£7 non-members
Rider and horse complete round at 2’0” ~ 2’3”, then rider jumps small course on foot.
Fastest combined clears wins!
To follow Class 3. ACCUMULATOR
Entry fee £5 members/£7 non-members
Complete course of jumps in order, points given for each one cleared (2’3”-2’6”). Round timed. After jumping final fence, option of jumping joker (2’9”) for additional points.
To follow Class 4. POWER & SPEED
Entry fee £5 members/£7 non-members
Clear over power round (2’6) leads to timed speed round (2’3”)
To follow Class 5. NOMINATED PUISSANCE
Entry fee £5 members/£7 non-members
First round (2’6”). Timed. All clears return to jump subsequent round(s),
choosing which jump to raise.
Entries on the day will be subject to a £2 per class/rider extra charge.
First aid fee £2 per rider.
Chocolate Easter Egg Prizes to each winner and rosettes to 6th place.
Special rosettes to highest placed D.D.R.C. member in each class.

Rules and Conditions.
To be run under Riding Club Rules 2008. Hats must be approved to PAS015 / EN1384 standard and must be worn at all times whilst mounted.
Correct footwear and show turnout for all jumping classes, please.

Fancy Dress ~ There is an open theme.
All riders to wear correct hats and footwear underneath costumes. Thank you.

Pairs ~ First rider passes through the start and commences round – jumps fences 1 – 8. On jumping fence 8, dismounts and hands horse/pony over for second rider to mount – anywhere in the arena. Second rider commences round and also jumps fences 1 – 8, passing through the finish to stop the clock. First rider may have two refusals but on third is eliminated – second rider must take over but must continue first rider’s round before beginning own round. If second rider is eliminated for third refusal, first rider may come and take over in the same way (providing he/she has not been eliminated in their first round!). Knock downs are penalised by 4 faults. Up to 2 refusals just waste time but are not penalised. Rider or horse falls will be eliminated. The fastest CLEAR combined rounds win.

Jump It & Leg It ~ Horse/pony and rider jump round first, against the clock. Rider dismounts, hands mount to waiting handler and then rider jumps round course, on foot, also against the clock. 4 penalties for each knock down, up to 2 refusals just waste time but third refusal results in elimination. Fastest CLEAR combined rounds win.

Accumulator ~ Fences are each worth points, according to difficulty. Riders jump round set course, against the clock, being awarded points for successfully jumping each fence. Up to 2 refusals just waste time but third refusal results in elimination. On completing round, rider may jump optional ‘Joker’ fence whereby high points are awarded for a successful jump, but knock downs / refusals result in points being deducted from jumping total. Only one attempt can be made at the Joker fence. Drawn order.

Power & Speed ~ Rider completes round of higher ‘power’ fences, not against the clock and, if clear, goes on immediately to complete ‘speed’ round, against the clock, over smaller course. Fastest clear in the speed section wins.

Nominated Puissance ~ All riders jump first round course. This will be timed. All clears return to jump second round, the fastest clear in first round will jump first, followed by the second fastest and so on. In the second round, each rider will be asked which fence they wish to be raised before jumping. Clears will go forward to the third and final round, where fences will continue to be raised, and rounds will again be timed to determine the winner.
