1. Junior Warm Up Competition (0.75m – 2ft6)
Open to all junior competitors. This will be run over one timed round.
Table A4. The fastest clear wins. Entry fee £12.
2. Junior Team Competition
Teams to consist of the following 3 junior rider & horse/pony combinations.
All three scores to count. Entry fee £36 per team.
Novice horse/pony (any junior rider) not to have won £25 in show jumping competitions since February 2005. Jumps not to exceed 0.75m – 2ft 6 in the first round.
Novice rider (any horse/pony) not to have won £25 in show jumping competitions since February 2005.
Jumps not to exceed 0.75m – 2ft 6 in the first round.
Open horse/pony & rider – unrestricted. Jumps not to exceed 0.90m – 3ft in the first round.
3. Royal Windsor Second Round Qualifiers – Top Score. For those who qualified in a first round competition only.
Novice sections to be run together with separate awards. Intermediate sections to be run together with separate awards.

Open team members only will jump off to decide on the winning team. This will be over a shortened, raised course.
The first rounds will be timed and used if equality for lower placings.
To enable teams to complete with a score: Eliminated competitors will have 20 penalties added to the worst total of faults scored by a competitor in the first round of their section of the competition.



Rules:
1. Teams must consist of 3 different rider & horse/pony combinations.
2. Horses/ponies must be 4 years of age or over.
3. Restrictions in the Novice team sections must be strictly adhered to.
4. Rosettes will be awarded to the first 8 teams in classes 2 and 4 and a perpetual trophy will be awarded to the winning teams.
5. Individual clear round rosettes will be awarded to all team members jumping clear in their first rounds in the team competitions.
6. The competition will be judged under B.S.J.A. rules, except that competitors will be eliminated after the 3rd refusal.
7. Objections must be made in writing with a deposit of £20 within 30 minutes of the incident occurring.
8. Save for the death or personal injury caused by negligence of the organizers or anyone for whom they are in law responsible, neither the organisers of any event to which these rules apply, nor the British Horse Society, nor any agent, employee or representative of these bodies accepts any liability for any accident, loss, damage, injury or illness to horses, owners, riders, spectators, land or any other person or property whatsoever, whether caused by their negligence, breach of contract or in any other way whatsoever.
9. The team course will consist of at least 8 fences, including at least 3 spreads and a double. A treble will not be included.
10. The closing date for entries shall be Monday 15th February 2010.

12. Only clubs who have paid their subscription to British Riding Clubs No.10 Area Liaison Committee are eligible to take part.
13. Clubs will be required to help with stewarding and arena party duties. A rota will be drawn up outside competitors’ jumping times to allow for this.
14. The indoor warm up is strictly for the next 8 competitors warming up. The warm up tannoy will be in operation throughout the competition. All arenas are to be kept muck-free at all times. Car parking is adequate and will be stewarded, please follow parking instructions carefully. Horseboxes must absolutely not be mucked out in the car park and horse/ponies must not be left tied-up and unattended outside lorries or trailers.
15. The course for class 1 will be available for walking from 8.30a.m. This class will start promptly at 9.00a.m. There will be a drawn order for all classes. Riders must be ready to jump or may risk elimination.
16. Royal Windsor Horse Show Information. This qualifier is a Regional Final open only to those who have qualified from the First, Local rounds and who are current members of an Area 10 B.R.C. club. The Finals and Championships will be held at Windsor in May 2010.The Champions of each class will then be invited to collect their trophies at the World Equestrian Games in Kentucky in 2010. VIA UNSUITABLE LANES!
From the M26 at Wrotham take the 2a exit then first left at the roundabout (A227 signposted to Wrotham and Gravesend). Take the 3rd exit at the next roundabout (A20 Brands Hatch, West Kingsdown), up the hill to the next roundabout, then take the first exit (A20 Brands Hatch, West Kingsdown). Continue for 1 ½ miles past ‘Horse and Groom’ pub on right. Take the next right signposted New Ash Green, Ash and Hartley (South Ash Road). Immediately pass the Woodlands Garden Centre on the left. Continue along for 2 ½ miles through Ash. Pass petrol garage on left and take the next left at small cross roads sign posted West Yoke. Eaglesfield is along the lane about ½ mile on the left.

From Longfield take the Ash Road through Hartley. At the roundabout at the top of Hartley Hill turn right. Pass the Royal Oak public house on the left. At the small cross roads turn right into West Yoke. Eaglesfield is along the lane about ½ mile on the left.

From A20 Farningham follow A20 through West Kingsdown. About 1 mile after going under the motorway bridge turn left signposted Ash, New Ash Green and Hartley (South Ash Road). Immediately pass the Woodlands Garden Centre on the left. Continue along for 2 ½ miles through Ash. Pass petrol garage on left and take the next left at small cross roads sign posted West Yoke. Eaglesfield is along the lane about ½ mile on the left.
